Elope in Palm Springs
So, you wanna get married and keep it simple? Or just have beautiful engagement/couple photoshoot? Well, I got some insider tips on how to elope in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. These two desert hot spots are perfect for couples who want to keep it low-key but still want to have a memorable day.
First things first, you gotta decide on a location. Palm Springs has some dope locations, like kitschy-chic Saguaro Hotel. I would start there. If you're looking for something more secluded, head to Joshua Tree and say your vows among the boulders or under the desert stars. No matter where you choose, make sure it speaks to your vibe as a couple.
Here is a list of my favorite locations for photoshoot:
It's retro futuristic
Color doors
Pink door 1100 East Sierra Way
Red door 1947 Cadiz Cir
Purple door 1500 Lobo Way
Yellow door 2344 S Yosemite Drive
Sage door 2297 Camino Real
it has all colors wall and palms alley
all types of cactuses in one place
Entrance to Joshua Tree is $30 per vehicle.
Next up, let's talk about the legal part. California requires that you obtain a marriage license before your big day. Lucky for you, you can get one in Palm Springs at the County Clerk's office or the Cathedral City Hall. The cost is $90 and you'll need to show up in person with valid ID. Once you've got that sorted, you're ready to rock and roll.
Now, let's get to the fun part - the actual elopement. You can go as simple or as extra as you want. Some couples go for a quick ceremony with just a couple of witnesses, while others go all out with a boho-chic setup complete with a macrame altar and vintage rugs. Each idea we can discuss individually!
Whatever your style, make sure you have a good photographer to capture those memories, how can help you with posing.
So, there you have it - how to elope in Palm Springs and Joshua Tree like a boss. Just stay true to your vibe, hire me and most importantly, have fun!
